The University of Akron is pleased to announce their annual competitive merit base scholarship for international students. It is known as Akron Guarantee scholarship for international students 2021 with the aim of paying parts of student’s school fees in the campus. The award is designed to start with certain award amount and increase as the student gain credit through following the laid down procedures of the institution like obeying code of conducts and maintaining 2.5 CGPA during the time of study.
This grant is renewable for the period of four years of study at the institution. Initial award starts from the sum of $1000 to $7500 and increases upwards. It changes according to your year of study and performance calculated by points.
Eligible Criteria
- Graduate of high school with minimum of 3.0 C.G.P.A is eligible to apply.
- Can be an international student or in state student
- Must have passed ACT with score of at least 20 or SAT score between 1020-1050.
- Also, must have applied for admission to study any course of choice at the institution.
Note: that there is no need for separate application for this scholarship as all applications for admission will be given consideration and decision communicated to the applicant.
