University of Southampton merit international scholarship 2020

As yearly activities of the institution, University of Southampton in United Kingdom has announced the opening for application for 2020/2021 academic session merit international awards of the institution. All applications received will be given attention but only qualified individuals with high academic performance will be given consideration for the scholarship as it on merit. It is only applicable for undergraduate persons. This is a funding offer put in place to help international undergraduate students applying to study under the listed courses.

 Applicable courses

Generally, this is available for international undergraduate students of the following faculties. It is as stated below:

• Firstly, all courses under Arts and humanities faculties
• Secondly, students applying for any courses in Engineering and physical sciences faculty which includes electronic and computer science courses, Engineering courses, physics, Astronomy and also chemistry field of courses.
• Thirdly, students applying to study in Environmental and life sciences faculty which include Biological sciences, Geography and social science. It equally includes ocean and earth science, psychology
• All the courses under social sciences faculty are eligible to apply.

What is the scholarship value?

This is partial funding of the applicants school fees. Successful applicants will enjoy up to three thousand dollars ($3,000) annually.

The criteria for eligibility for this application are below:

• Firstly, should be an international student according to the institution assessment.
• Secondly, can be student applying for admission into the institution under any of the study fields above.
• Thirdly, should be willing to pay part of the tuition fee yourself
• Also, must be ever ready to pay the deposit as may be required on the admission letter upon admission.
• Importantly, applicants must satisfy all the academic requirements by the institution.
