UNCF –Ralph Lauren scholarship

The UNCF –Ralph Lauren scholarship invites application for qualified candidates for the scholarship. Generally, the UNCF- Ralph scholarship is under the united Negro college fund scholarships. This scholarship grant is under the management of UNCF. This however, was established to help individuals in the senior high school. It aims at assisting this category of individuals with financial assistance in order to help them achieve their academic goal. It is applicable to help them finish their undergraduate degree studies any of the HBCUs accredited institution in United States. 

However, this scholarship is applicable to individuals willing to undertake undergraduate degree courses in Historically Black Colleges and Universities. HBCUs is any abbreviations for some group of schools founded on the need that people should have all necessary access to be educated in the 1800s.

Many high schools and colleges in the United States have been listed as a HBCUs school due to their impact to education at the moment. The grant is to be disbursed to successful applicant in the fall semester of 2020/2021 academic session.

UNCF –Ralph Lauren Scholarship eligibility criteria

Individuals with interest in studying under UNCF –Ralph Lauren scholarship program must certify certain criteria as listed below to stand a chance among other applicants. they include the following requirement:

• Firstly, applicants must be a an African American or from black origin
• Secondly, aspirants will have at least 3.0 CGPA to qualify for the grant
• Thirdly, must complete the free application for federal students Aids (FAFSA) when the application starts in October 
• Equally, it is important to show high need for financial assistance as will be verified by the university
• Also, should be a student of college senior as at the of sending this application
• Must be an African American or  black origin student currently enrolled as a full time student of any HBCUs university in the United States. 

Procedure for applications for UNCF –Ralph Lauren scholarship

The UNCF –Ralph Lauren scholarship is to be made online. The application also will be accompanied by the following documents:

• Firstly, applicant’s personal statement
• Secondly, aspirants evidence of participation and impacted service on community toward the development of social activities.
• Thirdly, must submit the current transcript of the  senior school level certificate.
• Also, applicant’s recommendation letters to be completed by professors.
