University of Toronto Canada invites application for suitable candidates for its annual Lester B. Pearson international scholarship grant. Lester B. Pearson scholarship grant is awarded to students who have shown diligence and exceptional performance in their academic field. However, such student must have impacted positively into the community and with possibility of impacting more to the community in the future.
Generally, this scholarship grant is referred to as the most prestigious and competitive grant in the campus. It is fully funded as it covers student’s complete tuition fee and other expenses like text book, accommodation, and other little expenses. It is open only to undergraduate degree student at the time of gaining admission into this prestigious university.
Who can apply for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship?
Generally, the application is open for application for international students of all fields of studies. However, such course or field of study should be one offered at the University of Toronto in Canada. Also it is a requirement that an applicant be nominated from a high school for such application at Institution. Upon nomination such student will receive a direct link for application for the grant. Application mode and steps
This application is online and the university does not recognize any agent in the process of application. The institution also does not work with any agent to give scholarship as it purely on merit without discrimination as to race and country of origin. Here are the application steps:
- Firstly, approach your high school for nomination as candidate for this scholarship by downloading the form online.
- Secondly, after nomination you apply for any course of choice to undertake undergraduate program in the institution. It necessary to know that you are allowed to apply for more than one program, but this scholarship is designed to apply only to first choice of program and not more. This is better done through the OUAC.
- Third step, upon the receipt of the steps above by the institution, the institution will send a direct link for the scholarship. When the link is sent you can then apply for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship.

OUAC closing date: December, 14th 2020.

Scholarship benefits
It covers student’s tuition fee for undergraduate program but not more than four years. It covers accommodation, text books and other minor expenses.
How to get nominated
Go to the application portal and download the nomination form. Fill the same form and submit back to the institution. However, if your high school is yet to be verified just submit a mail for the verification. Once it is verified proceed to download your nomination form.
