The prestigious SMU Hunt leadership scholarship program, is such designed to help train leaders in different capacity. This is a mission started by Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt to give back to the society. One most important thing about this scholarship program is that, it is designed in a way individuals can learn skills and engage in other academic activities.

It is meant for individuals who have developed leadership skills and extra academic performance. Applicants must be ready to undertake entrepreneur related skills combined with other tertiary institution study activities. There must be proof of leadership quality contribution to the community and readiness to acquire more.

The SMU Hunt leadership scholarship program benefits

The benefits of this scholarship is paid to the awardees annually and as at when due. Importantly the awarding organization has made reasonable arrangement for the benefits to be enjoyed by awardees. However, the scholarship is designed to give out $42,000 to individual awardees for four years. Also, included in the scholarship benefits is the awardees plan travel expenses. It is also extended to the school fee for courses to be taken during international leadership experience.

Firstly, it is a requirement to show proof of leadership quality in the community.
Secondly, must show high academic performance to stand a chance.
Thirdly, applicants to show interest in developing more leadership skills with the SMU standard community using standard procedures
